Repeat Dispensing is part of the electronic prescription service (EPS) and allows your prescriber to send multiple prescriptions to your chosen pharmacy at once. Instead of ordering a new prescription every time, our pharmacists can dispense your medicine when it is due. This saves time and keeps your treatment going without delay.
How Does Repeat Dispensing Work?
Setting up repeat dispensing is simple. You just need to give permission for our pharmacy to be your nominated dispenser. Once this is done, your prescriber can send up to 12 months of repeat prescriptions at one time.
These prescriptions are stored securely and released at regular intervals, such as monthly or every few weeks, depending on what your prescriber decides. If your treatment changes at any point, only one update is needed, and your next prescription will reflect those changes.
You can still collect “as needed” medicines through this service. Your prescriber will set how often these can be collected, and we will make sure you get them when required.
